This little Pikelet went to market
A go-to snack for my minis is pikelets, today we cooked and ate together to fill our bellies before we headed to the beach.
Ingredients:
1/2 to 1 cup (150ml) milk
1 egg
1 cup (150g) wholemeal self-raising flour
Melted butter, to brush
Banana and Honey, to serve
Make It:
Step 1:
Whisk milk and egg together in a small bowl.
Step 2:
Place flour into a bowl, then add wet ingredients, whisking until smooth.
Step 3:
Heat a non-stick frypan over medium heat and brush with a little melted butter. Drop level tablespoonfuls of the mixture into the pan and cook for half a minute or until bubbles appear on the surface.
Step 4:
Turn over and cook other side for 1 minute until golden.
Get them in your belly!
